3. Data collection

Server log files: The hosting provider automatically collects information in server log files (browser type, OS, referrer URL, hostname, time, IP address).

Contact form: Data you submit via the contact form is stored solely to process your inquiry.

Our own visitor analytics: We operate our own privacy-friendly visitor analytics on our own infrastructure; no external providers are involved and no data is passed to third parties. Recorded are the pages viewed and their order, the content sections that became visible (and thus the last section reached), the broad origin of the visit, the device class, and the opening and successful submission of the contact form. Not recorded are form contents, your name, email address or IP address — the analytics never receives or stores an IP address. Two random identifiers for visit and session are stored in your browser; a session ends after 30 minutes of inactivity. Individual visitor paths are deleted after no more than 72 hours; only anonymous daily counters are kept permanently. In the EU/EEA, the UK, Switzerland and where the country cannot be determined, recording only takes place after your consent (equally weighted "Reject" / "Accept"); elsewhere it can be switched off at any time via "Privacy settings" in the footer. The country is determined only on the server and the IP address is not passed to the analytics.

4. Your rights

You have the right to obtain information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the right to rectification, blocking or deletion of this data. Contact: mail@chocosite.info
